June 7, 2023 Special Meeting
Call to Order
President Stephanie Guerrero called the special meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. Board members present were: Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. Absent: Jessica Browning, Lori Campbell.

Executive Session
Matt Wood moved and Josh Hilbert seconded the motion to enter closed session at 6:02 p.m. for the reasons stated on the agenda. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Closed Session Adjournment
Jeff Stahl moved and Josh Hilbert seconded the motion to re-enter open session at 6:23 p.m. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Closed Session Minutes
Josh Hilbert moved and Matt Wood seconded the motion to accept the closed session minutes as read in closed session. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Resignation
Martha Leeper moved and Matt Wood seconded the motion to accept the resignation of Holly Russell as an At-Will Cook effective immediately. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Resignation
Josh Hilbert moved and Jeff Stahl seconded the motion to accept the resignation of Pam Forshee as an At-Will Benefitted Bus Driver effective immediately. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Employment
Martha Leeper moved and Josh Hilbert seconded the motion to employ Brittany Massey as an Elementary Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Employment
Jeff Stahl moved and Matt Wood seconded the motion to employ Hilda Rice as the Primary Principal effective July 1, 2023. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Health Alliance
Martha Leeper moved and Stephanie Guerrero seconded the motion to accept the bid for Employee Health Insurance coverage from Health Alliance for the 2023-2024 school year at a cost of $817.00 per month per employee. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.

Matt Wood moved and Jeff Stahl seconded the motion to approve the Draft Updates of Board Policies: 2:110, 4:60, 5:30, 5:90, 5:125, 5:150, 5:260, 6:135, 6:230, and 8:20. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
Board Policy
Josh Hilbert moved and Matt Wood seconded the motion to adopt Board Policy 4:165 as presented by the IASB. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.

Matt Wood moved and Josh Hilbert seconded the motion to approve the Board Policies 4:40, 5:170, 5:285, 6:210, and 8:70. Roll call vote: Ayes-.Stephanie Guerrero, Josh Hilbert, Martha Leeper, Jeff Stahl, and Matt Wood. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
