Notice of Public Hearing — Tentative Budget

Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of Sangamon Valley Community Unit #9 in the Counties of Macon, Sangamon, & Christian, State of Illinois, that a tentative budget for said school district for the year beginning July 1, 2024, will be on file and conveniently available for public inspection at the Sangamon Valley C.U.S.D. #9 Unit Office in Niantic, Illinois in this school district from and after 8:00 am on the 15th day of August, 2024.

Notice is further given that a public hearing on said budget will be held at 6:00 pm on the 18th day of September 2024 in the library at Sangamon Valley High School. Those wishing to make public comments during the hearing should contact the Superintendent, Jonathan Field, at (217) 668-2338 to be placed on the agenda.
