School registration was August 8. If you still need to register your child for school, please contact the building office.

Register In Person — New or Returning Students
In-person registration will be in each school building on August 8 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. All new students MUST attend on-site registration.
Register Online — Returning Students Online registration closed on August 4.
Changes to Transportation Policy
To ensure the safety of our students, there have been a few changes to our transportation policy. Please read carefully before filling out your child’s transportation form.
Students may obtain a bus pass to get off at a different stop ONLY if the alternate stop is listed on the student transportation form.
Only 1 alternate address on the transportation form for bus passes will be allowed.
Bus passes must be requested by email or a written note (no phone calls) by 11 AM on the day of request. Note or email MUST include: student name, physical address of alternate stop, and parent signature.
Changes to the student transportation forms must be made in person and may require 48 hours notice to adjust the student route.

Where will my child attend classes?
PreK — 2nd Grade: Sangamon Valley Primary School (Harristown)
3rd — 5th Grade: Sangamon Valley Intermediate School (Illiopolis)
6th — 8th Grade: Sangamon Valley Middle School (Illiopolis)
9th — 12th Grade: Sangamon Valley High School (Niantic)
What about Transportation?
If your child will need bus service to school, please fill out a Transportation Request form (available online and at in-person registration) and return the completed form as soon as possible.
How much is the Technology Fee?
All students will pay a $50 technology fee. The school will provide either an iPad (K-2) or Chromebook (3-12) for use in class.
When is the first day of class?
Classes begin Monday, August 21 for K-12 students. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 am on the first day. Pre-K students will begin classes on Friday, August 25.
What are the medical requirements for each grade?
Grades K, 6, and 9: State of Illinois School Physicals are required prior to the first day of school.
Grades 5-12: Student athletes must have a current physical on file before the start of practice.
Grades 2, 6, and 9: Dental Exams required.
Grades 6 and 12: Meningitis Shots required.
Grade K: Eye Exam required.
