An important safety reminder from Dr. Field regarding the pick-up and drop-off procedures in our school parking lots.

On Monday, November 11, the students, staff and community gathered to celebrate our Storm community’s Veterans and honor them with a district-wide assembly.

We recognized students with perfect attendance and those who earned honor roll and high honor roll as well as the Students of the Quarter who were nominated by their teachers.

Picture Day for Sangamon Valley Middle School is scheduled for Thursday, Sep 12.

I hope that you have had an enjoyable summer with an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. We have been busy this summer getting things ready for the upcoming school year for both our staff and students.

Beginning July 1, online registration will be open for all new and returning students. We will not be offering in-person registration this year.

SVMS competed at the Macon County Track Meet in Mt. Zion. Out of 14 total teams, Sangamon Valley placed 2nd in the boys division and 3rd in the girls division!
