Today was definitely a day to put in the history books! Students were super excited about the event and everyone was extremely respectful and enjoyed the moment.

Spring Picture Day is coming up on April 9, 2024! Only students who preorder will be photographed.

Freshman Orientation will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 6:00—8:00 pm at Sangamon Valley High School in Niantic.

Our district spelling bee gave our students the opportunity to shine! Congrats to the SVMS winners that took home hardware.

The SVMS Chess Team participated in the Franklin Chess Tournament. Many of our students earned medals, the team won a total of 38 matches, and SV was the TOP scoring team!

This morning we worked on social emotional learning, trying out new strategies for dealing with stressful situations or emotional moments. This afternoon we had fun with team-building activities!

On the last day before Christmas break, we always hold Reindeer Games. The teachers continue to be undefeated, but congratulations to the 7th grade team for beating both 6th and 8th grade!

Congratulations to our choir students today for a successful caroling trip! They sang for our elementary students and residents of Vonderleith and Mary Bryant before heading to White Oaks Mall.
