I hope that you have had a relaxing summer and have had an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. It has been a busy summer as we continue to make improvements to our facilities and fill teaching positions.

Below is the final exam schedule for students in grades 9 through 11. Students may leave after their finals are completed with parental permission.
Mr. Boynton Blood Drive
A few weeks ago, we hosted our second annual blood drive in memory of Mr. Boynton. We had 39 successful donations this year and will again be awarding a senior with a scholarship next spring!
7th Grade Boys Track Places 1st at Sectionals
SVMS Track & Field competed in Sectionals in Riverton, hosted by Tri-City. The 7th grade boys team received 1st place overall! Here is a list of Sectional 1st place finishes.
SVMS Band & Choir Concert
SVMS Choir and Band was able to show off their amazing talents Wednesday evening during our Spring Concert. Thank you to Mrs. B-Webb and Mr. Gorecki for being outstanding directors within our SVMS Team.

On Monday, May 1, 2023, SVHS Senior Sarah Finley was recognized by the Illinois Principals Association - Abe Lincoln Region.
